That’s a picture of my surgeon Dr. Rekate. He is the best kid brain surgeon in the world! I really love everyone at Dr. Rekate’s office. Tracy is so nice and Donna is so gentle when she takes out your stiches. When Dr. Rekate took out my first stiches he sang Christmas songs to me in all different languages! When my arm gets better, I am going to play violin and he is going to sing! I really love him alot!
I had a second surgery at St. Joes and my Dr. was Dr. Bristol. Dr. Rekate broke his ankle hiking with his dog so he could not do the surgery. Dr. Bristol was very nice and took great care of me. I remember her because she was so gentle with me and she checked in to make sure I was ok.
Thanks to Dr. Uschold for waking me up every hour (not really fun) to check on me. I know he was only doing that to make sure I was ok:)
Did you know I have a guardian angel here on earth? Her name is Michelle Robson! She has done a ton of stuff to make sure I was getting the best of everything. I remember her coming to see me at the hospital when I just got out of my first surgery! I love her very much and can’t thank her enough for all that she does! Mrs. Gonzalez and Mrs. Shaw are two more of my best angels!! They ALWAYS make sure I am taken care of and that my family is ok. I love them sooooo much!
When I was in St. Joes after my surgery I had the BEST nurses. They made me feel better. They were so nice and they loved me. Patricia, Jen, Kelly, Cindy, Pat and Scott, I love you all very much. Pat, thanks for the monkey pouch stickers! Mandy, Antonia, Kelly and Sara, Thank you for making me smile and laugh when I really didn’t feel like it, eat when I was not hungry, wake up when I was sleepy and walk when all I wanted to do was lay down. You helped me get back to being me!
I got to meet lots of nice people like Robert Hopkins, Mary Jane Crist and Sister Madonna. They all came to see me and make sure I was doing well. Mr. Hopkins gave me a pretty St. Joes blanket that I will be taking to St. Judes with me.
Thanks to all of you for the love and prayers! Thanks to Alvia and her friend for coming and praying with me and my family while I was there too:)
I am blessed to have Dr.s and Nurses that really care about me getting better. You all have a special place in my heart!

Hi Nitalia
It’s Kathy Rea. I wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and your family every day and praying for you to get better. I know you are a brave girl and strong too. I hear that it is cold there. It is pretty cold here right now and it has been raining alot the past few days. My dogs don’t want to go outside because they might get their feet wet. Go figure, because they like the swimming pool in the summertime. I will be thinking about you everyday and hope and pray to see you soon. Lots of hugs, kisses and love to you.
Hi Nitalia,

I am so glad you came home [to our hotel] today! You came with a big smile, and then everything was more clearer, brighter, and the topper happier! We decorated your room all with a Christmas theme and we borrowed a little Christmas tree from the hotel that was decorated with ornaments and little snowflakes that changed colors with the star at the top of the tree!
So anyway, were going to check out condos tomorrow. We hope we’ll have a condo before Christmas but we don’t know yet! thanks everyone for your prayers and compliments on Nitalia and for Nitalia! We hope to be home soon and safe!

Hi Nitalia, I’m your nan & pops friend from N.J. Remember you and your family and Nannie Lingo came to my house to visit while you were in N.J. we had a pizza party and chocolate cake, yummy, when you are better I would like you and your, family to come to N.J. and we can have another pizza party. I have been on your web site everyday keeping up with your progress, you are the most incrediable 12 year old that I know, your amazing strength has shown us all that God will carry you through this healing time. Your Mom and Dad have a special place in my heart. Your Dad I know from a young boy and your Mom worked with me in a clothing store and your Dad and her met and the love between them has created this beautiful family. Your Pop and Nan Conti are special and I’m glad they are there with you and you were all together for Christmas . Soon you will be home in Arizona. I have been praying for God Grace to heal you, keep the faith and God will give you the strength to see this thru, well amazing young lady you are truly an example to us all, what pure love looks like. loads of hugs and kisses from me Pattie P N.J.
Hi Nitalia, I learnt about your most courageous journey from your family friend Patty. I have thought and prayed earnestly for you, along with our church family. We thank God daily for your complete miraculous healing, your holistic strength and the great testimony you are of the sweet blessedness you spread to all who know you. I serve as a missionary and know of so many mircaulous healing interventions and stand assured that you will be among the many that we will continuously thank God for. You are an inspiration, and my first charitable donations this year and this week will be to your worthwhile fund. I will keep in touch and send my love to you all the way from London England. I have two daughters who are also praying for you, and we look forward to a full and speedy recovery. KEEP SMILING AND BELIEVING, YOU ARE A MIRACLE WAITING TO HAPPEN

Hi Nitalia,
It is me thinking of you again….winter here in Philadelphia is getting very cold and windy, hope it is better in Memphis. You have been thru many different experiences since November…lots of them not to much fun and you have been a trooper. It is like the weather, sometimes it is not bad, even nice and sometimes when those winds blow it is awful. But, all of us out here are on your side, prayering and wishing you good things and much love…
Kisses and Hugs,
Aunt Sue
