My family is the most important thing in the world to me! I don’t do anything without them. My Mom and Dad do everything just to be with me and my sisters are my best friends. They are all coming with me to St. Judes so we will be getting better TOGETHER! The last month has been very hard on our family, but we are strong. Like my Dad says: We go THROUGH things, not around them! (My Mom says “Bend it like Beckham”…hehehehe)
My Nanny is staying with us for as long as I need her. She is from New Jersey. She loves me lots! Nanny is funny and makes me laugh. My Nanny and Pop here in Arizona will be coming out to Memphis to see me. They have to stay in Arizona cause they have a bizaillion dogs! I love them very much and will miss them. They are going to take care of my two poodles Myrtel and Mable while I’m away.
I hope Aunt Mand, Aunt Mimi and Uncle Joe will come out to visit me at St. Judes. I would love to see Sofia and Mia, They make me happy! My Aunt Meesi (Aunt Marisa) said she is going to come to visit in January. I cant wait to see her and my cousins!

Okay, I miss you terribly. Let me tell you what is going on at Cocopah. Well, mommy and daddy said I can tell your teachers about where you were. So, I did that. They send love and hugs and kisses and soon lots and lots of homework. Then I brought in your close friends- I had Elizabeth T., Monica M., Nina K,, Marley R., Eva B, Mary T, and I think that was it. I hope I am not leaving anyone out. Well, we cried, then we looked at your website together. We smiled. Everyone loves you so much. Elizabeth even went to get braces right afterwards and we talked about purple rubber bands and she did it!!! She got purple rubber bands for you!! Then we thought we would all wear purple bracelets, since it is your favorite color, so you can feel our strength. Slowly, but surely kids are all coming in to ask what can they do. Nitalia,daddy,and mommy are talking to the doctor right now because Nitalia just had an MRI on her spine, and she did awesome! Just to tell everyone we moved into our condo and to our suprise it was decorated beautifully and right where we wanted it a big [alive] Christmas tree! So the we found out that there were ordiments and garland in the closet,right away we rqn to get the boxes and put everything on the tree!

The wheather here is crazy,right now it’s only 19 DEGREES!We are freezing our buts off because the heater wasn’t working all night so were going to get it fixed today!How is the wheather there? Well, it’s almost Christmas. I finished shopping today and now I need to wrap some gifts. Tomorrow will be a busy day. We have a tradition in our cul-de-sac
to make and illuminate luminarias on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. The neighbors meet outside and share some Christmas goodies, light the candles, then move on to their own festivities. My family and I always go to my husband’s parents’ home. Mom makes a huge Italian feast which includes some type of pasta plus a variety of fish (octopus, calamari, smelt, salmon). I’m rather picky about fish so most of these items don’t make it to my plate! I enjoy the pasta, Italian sausage, and her delicious meatballs. Yum–I think I’m getting hungry!
I’d love to hear about your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day plans. I’m sure they will be filled with love and prayers. Perhaps a new Conti tradition will begin right there in Memphis.

A very nice man at Trader Joes (Dressed up as SANTA ELVIS!) gave Kennedy and me balloons! When we got home we wrote you a note and tied it on to the balloons! We just let them go! Ok so I didn’t get the puppy pictures taken yet lol. Aunt Mimi has about a bizillion things to do every day and I have been staying at Nan and Pops house taking care of their dogs and puppies, and my puppies are at my house with John. Hi, just popin in to say hi. Hope you are dcoing well and getting better every minute. I am such a dork cause i just realized your Christmas presents are still here. Somehow they got mixed in with the wraping paper, and never got mailed. I am so sorry. I will get them out this week.. I heard you got to give presents to the kids at the hospital. That was very cool of Mrs. Gonzales to do that. It’s very quiet here today, Mikey went to Tucson with his Dad and everyone else slept most of today. I even took a nap. Tiffany has a bad cold, and Uncle Mike is just getting over a cold. We can’t handle the cold and it is supossed to get cold again this week. Nannie and Pop should be home today. As I read through your website, I am overwhelmed by the amount of faith your whole families has during this very tough time. Last night I could not sleep, you all were on my mind and my heart. As I prayed for you, I thought of 2 stories in the Bible. Both are in Matthew chapter 9. The first is the lady who had suffered for 12 years, yet believed if she could touch Jesus’ robes she would be healed. In verse 22 Jesus says to her “your faith has healed you.” The second is of the blind man, when Jesus asks if he believes Jesus can heal him, the blind man answers yes. In verse 29 Jesus responds, “According to your faith will it be done to you.”
I believe Jesus is healing you. Keep up that unfailing faith. You all are an inspiration to us. Your strength, love for each other, trust and faith in God is awe inspiring. We miss you very much and can’t wait to see you again.

I am a friend of your Dad. We worked together at the radio station, well radio stations…Power and The PEAK. We all went to the movie premier of Brother Bear together. I brought my daughter Kaylee, she just turned 9 last month and you, your sisters and the Gonzalez family met us there. It was fun and my daughter talks about that all the time. Iam so happy to read that you are doing so well. Stay strong and good things follow. My two boys are sitting here watching me type this waiting patiently to go for their walk. I have two Shih Tzus. McGee,2 yrs old and Fibber, 15 months. They are a lot of fun and company. I bet your two pupsters really miss you guys. It is a little chilly here ,considering this is Florida. I am a friend of Aunt Deby (or as we call her….friend deby) and your mom and dad. I was at your mom’s baby shower when she was pregnant with you. I can’t believe 12 years have flown by. I just received this web site so please forgive me for not writing sooner.
I see that you have the same positive attitude as your mom and dad…..it runs in the blood. Two wonderful parents you have, so full of love…

I wanted to give you another update. We got another girl in our class, her name is Lauren. Gabi got her ears pierced. I got back from skiing in Utah yesterday.We had science benchmarks on Wednesday.Our class did not do so well. Anyways I miss all of you so much.

Wow so happy to hear that you will be traveling back to Arizona soon…that is great! Uncle Mike and I have been traveling again, since I wrote last we have been in Florida – Nevis – St.Kitts – St. Barts….I was thinking if you are a geography lover, you might like to check on a map all the place we have been, I could send you some of names of the places, you can locate them and maybe you might have some questions I could answer for you, so when you get to go to there you will know some stuff…..or maybe you can tell me something you know about them….

We also have a new baby in our family, Jim and Joanne had a baby girl(Emma Catherine) on Friday – March 6…her birthday is 3/6/9
